GAME SETUP - 10U DIVISION

Required Gear per Player:
  • Shin guards
  • Drink
  • Soccer cleats (recommended)
Ball Size:
  •  Size 4
Players on the Field:
  • 7 vs 7
Goalkeeper:
  • YES goalkeeper
Returning Ball to play from Out Of Bounds:
  • Goal kicks
  • Corner kicks
  • Throw-ins
Special Rules:
  • NO heading
  • YES slide tackling
  • YES offside enforced
  • NO goal keeper punting (New for 2018)
  • Build-Out Line (New for 2018)  (Explanation Videos: Video 1 & Video 2)
Referee:
  • Referee provided for games
Game Length:
  • (4) x 12.5 minute quarters
  • Approximately (60) minutes total field time including pre-game warm-ups
Parent/Guardian Involvement:
  • (1) parent/guardian per player is required to remain at the field
  • When team vs team games start, you are asked to monitor your player from the sidelines (on opposite side of field from coaches and players)
