Frostburg Rangers - AYSO Region 1090

GAME SETUP - SCHOOLYARD DIVISION

Required Gear per Player:
  • Shin guards
  • Drink
  • Soccer cleats (recommended)
Ball Size:
  •  Size 3
Players on the Field:
  • 4 vs 4
Goalkeeper:
  • NO goalkeeper
Returning Ball to play from Out Of Bounds:
  • ALL cases result in a throw-in or pass-in
  • 2nd chance rule allowed within reason (establish proper technique!)
Special Rules:
  • NO heading
  • NO slide tackling
  • NO offside enforced
Referee:
  • Coaches referee games
Game Length:
  • (4) x 5 minute quarters
  • Approximately (60) minutes total field time including pre-game practice
Parent/Guardian Involvement:
  • (1) parent/guardian per player is required.  Please come dressed and prepared to participate
  • A coach will demonstrate a skill and you as a parent/guardian will practice this skill with your player
  • All skills will be basic and ones we recommend you work on at home with your player
  • When team vs team games start, you are asked to monitor your player from the sidelines
