Frostburg Rangers - AYSO Region 1090

Frostburg Rangers History

The Frostburg Rangers have a long history of providing a youth soccer program for the greater Frostburg area.  For many years, the Rangers were part of the Jewish, Catholic and Protestant "JCP" Soccer League.  In the mid-90's, a group of parents decided to take the organization in a different direction.

On July 1, 2005, the Frostburg Rangers became a pilot program in the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and Region 1090 was established.  On May 1, 2015, Region 1090 became fully chartered with AYSO.

AYSO follows Six Philosophies that separate AYSO from other sports organizations.  The Six Philosophies are:  Everyone Plays®, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player Development.

Great soccer starts here.
